This was such an emotional day! I was flooded with so much joy, pride and that feeling of he is not longer my baby brother! He went from shy and quite to being well know! Out going and the girls really liked him. LOL (If he ever saw this he would not be to happy with me) But really he grew up a lot in those 6 weeks. I am still emotional about it. Because he was also always around. Birthday parties, Christmas, Thanksgiving and all the other major holidays. Now he's not. He was the quiet presence that made a difference. He loves my kids. Played with them all the time and I just loved seeing him. I admit I took it for granted. Even though he talked about joining for a few years. I thought he would never go through with it. I am glad he did but it still makes me sad.

The smiles, the giggles man they where contagious! It was great to laugh that day as much as we did. They where champs for getting out in that cold like they did.

Samie the senior
I would have to say that my favorite things about photographing seniors is they tend to open up to you better than their parents at times. The tell you their dreams and plans for the future. Sometimes their fears. They tell you how far they have come. And if they have struggled with anything. I like being that safe person for them to "tell all" too. It allows for them to do what I like saying the most. "Be yourself". This beautiful lady was not much for smiling. She said "I am happy I am just not a smiler".
But we talked about college and her love for coffee and books. As you can see when you look below. Have fun Checking out Fearfully and Wonderfully Made Samie!
Congrats on your Graduation Beautiful lady!
